Getting some "rust" inside the Phone

The other day , we received an iPhone 6 with a broken screen . When we opened it , we realized that some bolts inside the phone had many signs of rust inside , so we asked to the owner if he dropped his phone in water or was using when was raining a lot , and he answered not . So we ask again if he was using in places where the humidity is high like bathroom or near the gas stove , etc , and he answer yes . So not necessarily you have to submerge your phone in liquid to it get some rust inside , in the case of iPhone 6 it is not water resistant so easily can enter water or any liquid inside . In the next picture you will see the rust inside the phone .
